Hand knotted rug
Gabbeh carpets are made by a traditional hand-knotted method by the famous nomadic - and sometimes semi-nomadic - Ghashghan people of southwestern Iran. These carpets are known for the simplicity and primitiveness of their motifs, resulting in a rustic and charming feel. The nomads are inspired by the environment around them, resulting in modern and interesting carpets.
Being made of wool, it is a natural dirt repellent, has good fire resistance and maintains its shape very well over time.
