Hand knotted rug
These rugs have been hand-knotted in a network of villages around the city of Hamadan in north-west Persia. Each village or group of villages has its own distinctive character. They are generally brightly coloured and offer excellent value for money, making them very good for everyday use.
Being made of wool, it is a natural dirt repellent, has good fire resistance and maintains its shape very well over time.
This rug has a history: it has been used. It is in good condition, but may have some small defects, signs of the passage of time. Rugs appreciate in value over time.
