Hand knotted rug
Lahore carpets are knotted in workshops in the Kashmir region, which lies between Pakistan and India. They are made of wool and are compact, with many knots, which makes them very durable. Today they are considered the best in Pakistan.
We group them within the rustic Persian style due to their similarity in their drawings and medallions, however, it should be noted that they are Pakistani.
Being made of wool, it is a natural dirt repellent, has good fire resistance and maintains its shape very well over time.
