Hand knotted rug
Magnificent carpets knotted by Armenians from the village of Sarugh, located in the Arak district in western Iran. They are usually thick and brightly coloured, with pink and soft red dominating. The motifs are usually stylised floral figures, although geometric patterns are also present. They are included in the group of Hamadan carpets.
Being made of wool, it is a natural dirt repellent, has good fire resistance and maintains its shape very well over time.
High quality and durable WOOL.
Thickness approx. 9 to 12 mm.
